Dussault
Biography
In her youth, Manon discovered and admired the universe of creation with Madelaine Arbour. In 1988, after a long illness, she took her first drawing and sculpture lessons. It was at this time that she felt that art would take an important place in her life.
Later, she returned to school and obtained a diploma of college studies in visual arts in 1993. Manon received the honorary merit award for high distinction in her program. The same year, she was awarded the “student life” distinction for her involvement in the community. Subsequently, she decided to do her bachelor's degree in visual arts teaching and graduated in 1996.
Disappointed with the place occupied by art in elementary and high school at that time, Manon wanted to have fun by realizing another dream; drawing and designing clothes. She perfected her knowledge of fashion design with a diploma of professional studies in 1999. At that time, she won the 1st prize at the Windsor Paper Festival in 1998. On this subject, she expresses herself by saying ¨ I perceive my work as body sculpture ¨.
Versatile in her fields of interest, Manon accepts and now uses all aspects of her passions to create. In the future, she wishes to evolve through her disciplines and create in complete freedom.
